At the core of Magnetic 1 is a lead agent called the Orchestrator, functioning much like a manager or conductor directing a team of specialized AI agents. These agents each have distinct roles, allowing the system to handle multifaceted and multi-step tasks efficiently. The design enables Magnetic 1 to do more than just generate responses — it actively takes actions such as booking tickets, writing code, navigating browser content, or managing files seamlessly.
The Five Key Agents
The system's power lies in its five specialized agents:
- Web Surfer: Handles all web-based interactions, from opening pages, clicking links, filling forms, to summarizing web content. This agent essentially acts as the system’s web navigator.
