During testing, Microsoft observed instances where agents attempted unintended actions, such as repeatedly trying to log into a website or reaching out to humans for help with official requests.
To address these risks, Microsoft employs strict safety measures, including sandboxed environments (using Docker containers) for executing code, and human oversight prompts for irreversible actions — like deleting files or sharing sensitive information. Future plans include developing mechanisms to distinguish reversible from irreversible actions and implementing safeguards to prevent misuse.
