During testing, Claude’s unpredictable moments—such as browsing unrelated images or halting recordings—revealed that the technology is still very much a work in progress. However, Anthropic views this as an essential part of their public beta process: gathering feedback to improve the system rapidly.
Looking ahead, the company is already developing a more efficient, cost-effective version called Claude 3.5 Hau, set for release later this month. Despite being a budget version, Claude 3.5 Hau claims to match or surpass the original in numerous benchmarks, including Studi Bench Verified. It will initially be available as a text-only model, with plans to add image recognition capabilities later.
