The truck driver recounted that Sanchez reeked of alcohol and was slurring his words during the confrontation. Sanchez allegedly approached the driver and claimed he wasn't permitted to park in the loading bay. The aggressive behavior then escalated as Sanchez entered the truck without permission, becoming physically confrontational. Witnesses say Sanchez grabbed the driver, threw him against the wall, and even against a dumpster.
The Assault and Defense: Pepper Spray and a Knife
As the confrontation intensified, the truck driver resorted to pepper spray in an attempt to defend himself. However, Sanchez did not back down. According to the driver, Sanchez's continued aggression led him to believe his life was in danger, prompting him to pull out a knife and stab Sanchez in the torso.
