Despite it being a religious attack, the response from European authorities appears somewhat complacent or resigned. Celebrations erupted on the streets of London, Paris, and other cities, where crowds waved Hamas and Palestinian flags, set off fireworks, and danced—an alarming display of radical support for terrorists during Yom Kippur, the Jewish Day of Atonement.
