Videos from Italy, France, and the UK show large groups of radicalized individuals firing smoke bombs and celebrating the violence. This has become routine wherever Muslim fanaticism surfaces, and there is little indication that these populations are assimilating or seeking peaceful coexistence. Instead, many appear to harbor an intent to conquer and control.
This importation of radical ideology, some argue, is a consequence of liberal immigration policies and a soft bigotry of low expectations. These countries, especially the UK, have allowed, if not encouraged, this influx of immigrants—many of whom openly support jihadist causes. The result? A society where the celebration of terror and anti-Semitic violence becomes normalized, even during sacred holidays for Jews.
