Part 5/10:
When it comes to military capability, North Korea’s actual strength appears vastly overstated in official displays. Military parades showcase an array of impressive-looking equipment, but beneath the surface, much of it is superficial or outdated. The regime’s claims of advanced weaponry and nuclear capabilities serve more as propaganda than a reflection of true military readiness.
On the ground, the North Korean military is poorly equipped and poorly prepared for any actual conflict. For instance, the country’s small armed forces have limited ammunition—shooting only a handful of bullets annually, and even elite special forces units operate with minimal supplies. These stark realities highlight the disparity between the regime’s boasts and its true operational capacity.
