In the hours following the legal filing, city officials and law enforcement took action. Though Portland police claim they do not typically clear camps but instead provide security during such operations, in this instance, the camp was swiftly dismantled. Video footage and reports indicated that city crews, possibly working under or in collaboration with law enforcement, collected tarps and supplies by mid-afternoon, effectively ending the protest encampment.
