The protests themselves are largely anti-ICE and anti-law enforcement in nature. Activists, often young and equipped with skateboards, makeshift shields, and noise devices, congregate constantly outside the ICE facility, disrupting daily life for the nearby residents. They use amplified bullhorns, sirens, and LRAD long-range acoustic devices to harass ICE agents, with some videos capturing protesters shouting insults, holding signs, and pretending to shoot at law enforcement personnel—behavior widely condemned as juvenile and dangerous.
