Robberies and assaults are rarely investigated thoroughly, leaving victims—and by extension, the entire industry—disillusioned and vulnerable. This systemic failure means that often, drivers are victims of violent robberies, sometimes falling into kidnap captivity before being released, only to be marked suspiciously afterward.
