Until now, human interaction with digital technology has been primarily through personal computing and mobile device computing. This includes the use of traditional computers, laptops, tablets, and smartphones. In these eras, screens are separate entities—the window through which we access our digital lives.
Spatial computing signals a shift. In this new model, the physical space around us becomes integrated with the digital world. Instead of viewing digital content on separate screens, the digital environment is projected and overlaid directly onto our physical surroundings.
