According to intelligence sources, al-Qaeda has actively supported campaigns aimed at garnering sympathy or support from diverse groups, such as Black Lives Matter (BLM) supporters or individuals on the fringes of mainstream activism. They have been disseminating content with the goal of infiltrating social movements and possibly redirecting discontent toward their ideological cause.
