Just one month after its release, Star Wars Outlaws has reportedly sold around 1 million copies worldwide. While any sales figure might seem impressive on the surface, in the context of AAA titles and especially considering Ubisoft’s investment, this is disastrous. In comparison, Assassin's Creed Mirage, released just nine months earlier, had already crossed 5 million sales within its first three months.

The sales for Outlaws are roughly $120 million in retail revenue, assuming every buyer purchased the most expensive edition at around $120. However, after accounting for retailer margins—potentially 20-30%—Ubisoft's actual revenue from these sales dwindles further, possibly leaving the company with $40-50 million in gross earnings.
