A year ago, activist investor Nelson Pelts of Trenne launched a significant proxy war against The Walt Disney Company. This effort prompted Disney to appear to acquiesce to many of Pelts’s demands, at least publicly promising to enact changes. However, as months passed with little actual progress, Pelts recently announced he was back in the ring, seeking to escalate his campaign. But this time, he’s got a new ally — none other than Isaac "Ike" Pearlmutters, the former Disney executive and original owner of Marvel Entertainment.
