Part 4/17:
A recurring theme is the mythologization of Satoshi. Early on, Satoshi was a real person—a cautious, technical developer working behind the scenes. Over time, the community’s perception morphed into an almost mythic figure, partly driven by his disappearance and partly by the natural human tendency to anthropomorphize and mythologize founders of revolutionary projects.
Research reveals that in the earliest days, Satoshi was approachable, collaborative, and involved in discussions, even responding to emails and actively contributing to the code. However, as the project gained traction, community interactions with him shifted. Cryptic forum posts, the absence of communication, and growing external interest transformed him into a shadowy figure, fueling speculation and myth.
