The US Sanctions Albanese Over UN Human Rights Actions in Gaza
In a significant diplomatic maneuver, the United States has imposed sanctions on Francesca Albanesi, a UN special rapporteur—who has no relation to Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese—over her calls to involve the International Criminal Court in response to Israel's military operations in Gaza.
