Analysts and relationship coaches suggest that this shift may be partly due to the delayed emotional maturity among younger men, influenced by lack of strong paternal guidance or cultural shifts that glamorize rebellion and independence. Many young men in their 20s haven't yet developed the confidence or stability that women find attractive.
Simultaneously, women—many of whom feel unfulfilled with shallow or tumultuous relationships—seek security and wisdom that come with age and experience. This, coupled with the natural biological drive to find supportive and nurturing partners, pushes women towards older men.
