Part 11/14:
Jupiter boasts an incredible family of 67 known natural satellites. Of these, 51 are small, under 10 km in diameter. The four largest—Ganymede, Callisto, Io, and Europa—are the so-called Galilean moons, discovered by Galileo in the 17th century. Ganymede is particularly noteworthy as the largest moon in the Solar System, with a diameter exceeding that of Mercury. These moons are of intense scientific interest, especially Europa, suspected to harbor subsurface oceans that could potentially support life.
