Part 10/15:
Famous for its elongated, tail-like structure stretching 280,000 light-years, the Tadpole Galaxy is a product of a previous collision with a smaller galaxy—visible as a bright, blue object nearby. This interaction causes the formation of its distinctive tail, which may eventually detach and become a separate satellite galaxy. Situated some 420 million light-years away, it holds more background galaxies than the imagery reveals, including over 6,000 distant galaxies.
