Part 8/13:
High-resolution observations show that the rings contain particles of varying sizes, from small dust grains to meter-sized chunks. The inner regions are darker and less icy, while the outer rings are predominantly bright and icy. The thickness of these rings is surprisingly minor, ranging from just 10 meters to up to one kilometer, adding to their delicate appearance. During planetary equinoxes, the rings become visually even more dynamic, displaying ridges, spokes, and oscillations caused by natural instabilities and gravitational influences from moons.
