Part 10/13:
Saturn boasts a diverse collection of satellites, numbering over 150, with 53 officially named. Among these, Titan stands out as the largest—a moon bigger than Mercury with a thick, hazy atmosphere of nitrogen and methane, making it the only moon in the Solar System known to have a substantial atmosphere. Titan’s complex chemistry and possible subsurface ocean continue to intrigue scientists searching for signs of prebiotic conditions.
Another notable moon is Mimas, affectionately called the "Death Star" by some due to its prominent crater, resembling a stereographic projection of the original space station from Star Wars. Other moons include Enceladus, known for its icy surface and cryovolcanoes that eject water vapor—potentially hosting habitable conditions beneath the ice.
