Part 2/12:
Tom Mueller’s journey began in the small town of St. Mary’s, Idaho, where he was the son of a logger. Unlike most local children, Mueller was captivated by space from a young age. While his peers spent time outdoors, he immersed himself in books, science fiction, and model rocketry. His early experimentation with high-pressure systems—such as building a model using his father’s oxy-acetylene welder—foreshadowed his future contributions to rocket technology.
