The industry's obsession with “fixing” its problems through superficial fixations might even hasten its decline, as audiences increasingly tune out.
In fact, if Star Wars cannot bounce back with fresh storytelling and meaningful characters, the franchise risks slipping into irrelevance along with other once-dominant brands like Star Trek. The industry’s core problem is not lack of celebrity but lack of compelling, authentic entertainment.
