While many yearn for Martin to conclude his original saga, the franchise’s strength also lies in the stories that can stand alone—stories that celebrate the genre's magic and charm, and that perhaps remind us that, after all, fantasy can be fun. Whether or not the main series gets the closure fans desire, the rich universe continues to expand, offering hope that there is still more to discover and enjoy in Westeros.
