Part 1/8:
Good Boy: A Heartfelt Horror from a Dog’s Perspective
Dogs have long been celebrated as man's loyal best friends—always eager to play, always devoted, and unwavering in their companionship. Their joyful energy and unwavering loyalty make them beloved creatures across the world. However, incorporating a dog as the protagonist in a horror film is a challenge, primarily because dogs cannot communicate complex emotions through dialogue like humans, and their natural behaviors might seem incompatible with building suspense or fear. Despite these obstacles, director Ben Leonberg took a bold risk with his film Good Boy, creating a supernatural horror that is both inventive and emotionally resonant.
