Despite being a major player in the gaming industry, Roblox’s response to troubling issues has been deeply questionable. It has publicly pushed back against efforts to monitor or curb predatory behavior, even going so far as to send cease and desist orders to vigilantes who attempt to expose predators on the platform. These so-called vigilantes, often parents or independent investigators, have been responsible for uncovering and reporting predators, leading to arrests and bringing dangerous content to light.
