Part 2/20:

The film Jurassic World: Afterbirth kicks off with a puzzling timeframe: it begins 17 years prior, a detail that seems both unnecessary and confusing. This flashback introduces a secret research site, one of 57 scattered across the globe, that no one seems to mention anymore. The scene depicts horrific mutated dinosaurs contained behind biohazard suits in a high-security facility—yet a seemingly trivial act sparks chaos that unleashes all the creatures. An innocent snack—an errant Snickers—accidentally shorts the ventilation system, leading to the release of these dangerous creatures. The illogical part? The security system's design makes no sense: why would a breach trigger a lockdown that releases all prisoners? The decision to have a “vent for bugs,” as one character describes it, is laughably flimsy, especially since someone casually litters a candy wrapper into it. To top it off, the chaos seems meaningless, just another plot device to unleash catastrophic dinosaur escapes for spectacle.
