One recurring problem is the lack of logical planning. For instance, characters travel on boats into dangerous zones, ignoring risks that any rational person would assess as lethal. Their backup escape plans—a helicopter only activating after 24 hours—are nonsensical, especially when the same characters could easily shoot dinosaurs from the air with a drone or helicopter. The film fails to establish consistent rules for weapon effectiveness—you can fire guns and sometimes damage dinosaurs, but other times bullets seemingly do nothing.
