Entire scenes are rushed—like the memorable scene where a character sacrifices himself to distract a gnawing dinosaur—only for the audience to be left wondering, “What was the point?”
The film's excessive cast and relentless pace dilute any emotional investment. Characters like a father, teenage daughter, and boyfriend are unconvincing, their interactions devoid of depth. Their decision-making is reckless, with many scenes involving jumping overboard or chaotic escapes that strain credibility.
