He lamented that the film tried to retroactively connect to the original Jurassic Park, but in doing so, introduced new characters and story arcs that felt unnecessary and poorly executed. The performance of the original cast, such as Sam Neill and Jeff Goldblum, was appreciated but ultimately underutilized, as the script failed to give them meaningful screen time. Notably, the villain—an inept antagonist dressed as a Steve Jobs lookalike—was deemed “the worst villain in the series,” wholly incapable of threatening the heroes.
