Her presence sparks Jack’s suppressed memories and encourages him to challenge the established order, pushing the story toward its emotional climax.
Visuals and Production Design
Visually, Oblivion is a masterpiece. Filmed largely on location in Iceland, the film captures the planet's rugged landscapes—spectacular volcanoes and rocky plains—that lend an almost tangible realism to the story. The scenes in the Sky Tower, where Jack and Vika reside, evoke a futuristic yet plausible environment: a sleek, sterile space in the clouds overseeing the remnants of a battered Earth.
