She attributes much of these distorted narratives to feminist movements and cultural shifts over the past decades. While feminism has advocated for women’s rights, she suggests it has also inadvertently contributed to a system where the aspiration to stay home and nurture has been devalued or undermined, making it harder for families to function well on a single income.
