Part 3/10:
Into this fraught atmosphere stepped Joey Swoll, a fitness influencer known for his muscular physique and vocal stance against gym etiquette violations and societal misbehavior. Following Hogan’s death, Swoll posted a video reminiscing about Hulk Hogan, describing him as “a legend” and “one of my inspirations to start working out.” In a heartfelt gesture, Swoll shared a photo of himself dressed as Hogan in a gym Halloween costume, aligning himself with the wrestling icon’s legacy.
This seemingly heartfelt tribute, however, did not stay up for long. Swoll deleted the post after facing persistent criticism from social media users, who accused him of overlooking Hogan’s past sins. His subsequent attempt to defend himself only worsened the situation.
