Last week, the first concrete data emerged showing The Acolyte's true performance. Viewership numbers revealed that the series was posting some of the lowest engagement figures in Disney+'s Star Wars catalog. The numbers indicated that The Acolyte was performing even worse than some of the most poorly received entries, such as Andor, which managed to grow over time despite a slow start.
Most startling was the revelation that The Acolyte's viewership was just above the premiere of Andor, yet unlike Andor, which gained traction, The Acolyte seemed to be losing viewers from episode to episode.
