Meanwhile, proven successful franchises like House of the Dragon reaffirm that casting diversity and strong characters are compatible with, rather than dependent on, excellent storytelling.
As viewers become increasingly discerning, they demonstrate that they value quality over superficial political messaging. Disney and other studios would do well to recognize that audiences will support productions that respect their intelligence and serve compelling stories, regardless of political themes.
