Part 2/9:
The story begins with Sir Sean Connery, widely regarded as the quintessential Bond. The narrator, a self-professed connoisseur, reminisces about watching Dr. No and laments how these vintage films have aged. While once deemed "cutting-edge" and "slick," they now seem somewhat quaint today, resembling figures playing with plastic toys. Despite this, Connery’s portrayal of Bond as a ruthless, cold-blooded killer—characterized by his toughness and sensuality—cements his place as the definitive Bond. The Dr. No film gets an A grade, partly nostalgia and partly historical significance.
