According to Nielsen ratings—considered one of the most reliable sources for streaming viewership—The Marvels failed to make much of an impact in its first week of availability. The week of February 5th to 11th, which marked its entrance on Disney Plus, saw the film ranked nowhere near the top of the streaming charts. Despite being labeled the "top streaming movie of that week" with roughly 558 million minutes watched, the number pales in comparison to other recent MCU releases or even non-Disney films.
