When Marvel announced the Echo series, fan reactions ranged from skepticism to outright disappointment. Many viewers suspected the show was created more as a vehicle for advancing diversity and identity politics than to tell a compelling story. Critics argued that the series seemed to be released primarily to push cultural agendas, rather than to serve the fans’ interests.
