In an outrageous twist of events, the Biden administration announced that the U.S. Air Force has been busy shooting down a variety of objects in the sky—ranging from a Chinese spy balloon and an unidentified drone to a seemingly innocuous American Airlines flight en route to Chicago, and even a pair of pheasants that might have made a decent meal, had they not been caught in the crossfire of military shrapnel from a Sidewinder missile.
