Recently, actor Robert Downey Jr., the iconic face of Iron Man, stirred the pot with his comments on a podcast. During the conversation, Downey praised his work in the MCU but noted that his great performance as Iron Man often went unnoticed because of the genre’s limitations. More notably, when asked about breaking Marvel news, Downey Jr. cryptically replied “not just yet”, sparking speculation among fans and insiders.
Rob Low, co-actor and fellow Hollywood star, also weighed in during the podcast, jokingly offering to negotiate Downey Jr.’s comeback. He suggested a playful but pointed bargaining tactic—demanding “a gazillion dollars” and a share of the gross profits—highlighting how valuable and in-demand Downey remains, and how much Marvel could benefit from his return.
