By December 4th, Disney publicly declared defeat, announcing they would cease reporting The Marvels’ detailed international box office figures to avoid further scrutiny. This move signaled the studio’s acknowledgment that the film was a catastrophic failure, holding the title of the lowest-grossing MCU film ever.
