Gabriel Singhera has been cast to portray Sauron in his original, ethereal form in flashback scenes, appearing with long hair in the past and shorter hair in present-day scenes. Additionally, the character of Anatar is listed for the new season, but little concrete evidence has emerged regarding how this character will be depicted or whether it will truly align with Tolkien’s descriptions.
