Most notably, Ubisoft appears to have drastically altered the stealth mechanics of the game. Instead of fixing issues or refining how stealth gameplay functions, the update removed nearly all stealth requirements from the game entirely. In effect, stealth no longer plays any meaningful role, rendering the mechanic almost meaningless in gameplay. This decision has been widely criticized, as it seemingly strips out core elements that could have enriched the game's experience.
