Perhaps the most glaring symptom of “The Veil Guard's” troubled standing is its absence from the nominations for the 2024 Game Awards. While other titles—some of which faced their own critical or commercial failures—made it into the nominations, “Dragon Age” was noticeably absent from the major categories. The game only received a single, almost meaningless nod in the “Innovation in Accessibility” category, a niche that hardly garners mainstream attention.
