Adding a powerful voice to the debate is David Hand, the son of the original Snow White director, who publicly condemned Disney's modern reboot. At 91 years old, Hand expressed his strong disapproval of the changes, which include replacing the traditional Seven Dwarves with seven magical creatures and removing the romantic pursuit with the prince altogether.
In a statement to The Telegraph, Hand said:
“It's a whole different concept and I totally disagree with it. Walt Disney and my father would be turning in their graves if they saw what’s happening now.”
