The relationship between South Africa and Saudi Arabia gained momentum in 2022, sparked by a pivotal meeting between Saudi Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman and South African President Cyril Ramaphosa. Since then, diplomatic exchanges, trade talks, and investment agreements have surged. Currently, over $5 billion worth of deals are in discussion, spanning sectors such as renewable energy, gas, real estate, and logistics.
