Some rumors propose that the test audience feedback focused heavily on the film’s action sequences, which many felt failed to meet the franchise’s standards. There are claims that Marvel executives found the action to be underwhelming when compared to previous iconic entries like Captain America: Civil War and Winter Soldier. As a result, the decision was made to scrap much of the existing footage and re-shoot key action scenes from scratch.
