Part 4/8:
The Taliban's police in Coast announced the execution via a post on X, warning spectators not to bring cameras, smartphones, or weapons to the event. They reported that approximately 80,000 people attended the public killing, which took place at the city’s central football stadium—a site traditionally used for mass gatherings.
Social media posts, including a photograph shared by police spokesperson Mustaphir Gorbuz, claimed to show Mangle during the execution, with Gorbuz further alleging that Mangle had "brutally and mysteriously murdered 13 members of a family." The court suggested that the victim’s family had been offered the chance to forgive Mangle but chose to pursue the death penalty instead.
