Part 4/8:
Recent data from Samba TV has shed light on just how badly The Witcher has performed post-Cavill. The first episode of the season's finale was streamed in only 547,000 households during its initial four days—a dramatic decline from the 1.1 million households that watched Part 1 just weeks prior. This represents over a 50% drop, far worse than industry forecasts and an enormous fall-off compared to previous seasons.
For context, last year’s The Witcher: Blood Origin managed to reach 1.3 million households in its first eight days, and its total streaming minutes modestly surpassed the current season’s viewership. When compared to Season 2, which amassed 2.2 billion minutes watched, the decline is stark and alarming. The show's once-promising momentum has essentially evaporated.
