Initial Symptoms and Concerns
In May 2023, I experienced a sudden and alarming episode that disrupted my day and caused significant concern. While performing household chores with my husband, I began to notice a strange sensation in my left hand and arm. It started as tingling and numbness at my fingertips, gradually spreading up to my shoulder. The sensation felt similar to the feeling when your arm falls asleep—completely numb and unresponsive. As the symptoms worsened, I found myself unable to move or control my left side, which intensified my fear that I might be experiencing a stroke or a heart-related issue.
